Friday 5

Wow has it really been over a week since I have last blogged. Time flies when you are having fun. Here is what has been going on.

1. If it were not for the calendar on my desk I would not be able to tell you what day it was. Days run into night, nights run into days, and before you know it over a week has passed and you dont even realize it.

2. If my baby wants to stare at me at 3:30am in the morning it is ok with me. She has beautiful eyes and when she smiles it will melt you.

3. I plan on starting a new book sometime. I have two on my desk right at the moment that are collecting dust. I will post some quotes when I begin.

4. College football is in full force. The Gamecocks are 2-2 going into Saturday night. The game should be a blow out. Note I said should be. Who knows with this team.

5. I LOVE MY WIFE!!!!!!!!!

New Pictures

So they are a day early. I don't think you will mind.

Crazy Times

I know, I know it has been a week since I last posted. Lots of things going on right now in my life.

Of course there is the new little one. Other than that I have gone back to work and we are right in the middle of our Area Wide Crusade.

I must say I am excited that Children's Worship has started back. I have missed the excitement of sharing God's Word with our children. We are going to be doing several different multi-media series within the next several weeks. I am pumped to see what God is going to do.

And last but not least, I will have brand new pictures up tomorrow of Carragin. I am planning on working on them this afternoon and I will post them in the morning. You want believe how much she has changed in just a week and a half of life here on earth.

Quick Update

Just wanted to let everyone know that mom, baby, and dad are all doing good. Carragin is sleeping, eating, and well you know. I must confess that as of this moment night time has been pretty good. Carragin is waking up when she wants to eat, and then goes right back to bed.

We went to the doctor today for our first visit. Everything went well. She now weighs 6lbs 10oz. The doctor listened to her heart and lungs and said everything sounded perfect.

Erin and I want to thank everyone for all the meals, visits, cards, and all the facebook wall post. Our family and friends are mean so much to us and we want to thank everyone for everything that they have done.

I should have some more pictures soon and will get them up as soon as I can.

What A Day

It is with great pleasure that Erin and I announce the birth of our daughter Carragin Victoria Freeman. Born today September 3rd at 3:15pm. She weighed 6 pounds 7 oz and was 21 inches long. There is so much that I want to write about but just don't have the time nor the energy.

Erin and I want to thank everyone of you for all your prayers, text messages, and encouraging words. I cant wait to blog about how the day went. To sum it up in a couple of words. My Wife is now my HERO!!!!

Most of all we want to thank our Great God who was with us every step of every way. To him be all the glory forever and ever.

Erin and Carragin are doing great. Hopefully I can have some pictures up within the next couple of days.

Random Thoughts

The good thing about the Gamecocks win on Thursday night was the fact that we had 4 count that 4 interceptions and still won the game 34-0.

All the hype about Clemson was just that hype. The proved once again that they do not belong anywhere near the top 10. Sad thing about it is that a lot of Clemson fans drove all that way only to have a total of 9 seconds of excitement.

Still waiting on Baby Carragin to get here. She is acting just like a women already.

Had a God moment this weekend. They say once a baby gets in position to come out that there movements slow down a lot. This is hard for me to understand as I want her to be moving all the time. Fact is that just doesn't happen. So I prayed "God if everything is alright with my baby girl would you just confirm it with a kick or some kind of movement." I promise you I had not got finished praying when she kicked my hand harder than ever before. Wow, I get chills still thinking about it.

By the next time I post I will probably be a daddy!!!!! WOW!!!!
